Christmas Morning Mile.
We are delighted to announce that €1700 was raised at our recent Christmas morning mile. Thanks to all that kindly donated. All donations received will be donated to Big Dinny’s Memorial Miles for Milford.
2024 Celebration Night.
What a night we had in Moyne Community Hall on Friday Night. We honoured all of our athletes from the 2024 indoor, track, road and cross country seasons from County to National level.
Club Chairperson Eibhlis Purcell opened proceedings with a few words to recap on 2024. On the night all athletes were acknowledged for their commitment to training and competing with a certificate which was presented by National U23 indoor and outdoor double gold medalist Katie Bergin. Medals that were won at Munster and National level which were returned to the committee were presented on the night. Individual awards for 2023 and 2024 were also presented.

U9-U13 Track & Field Athlete of the Year: Lily Murphy.
U14-U19 Cross Country Athlete of the Year: Kate Delaney.

Senior Road & Cross Country Athlete of the Year: Louise Fogarty.
Senior Track & Field Athlete of the Year: Katie Bergin.
Most Improved Athlete of the Year: U10 Girls 4x100m Relay Team.

Well done to all. We would like to thank all that made tonight possible especially to our Awards Night sub committee. We would also like to thank Moyne Hall for the use of their facilities and to all club members that helped out on the night. We would finally like to wish our club committee, coaches, athletes, parents and supports all the best on and off the track in 2025 and thank you all for your hard work and dedication to our club in 2024. Big Dinny’s Memorial Miles for Milford.
Congrats to all that took part in the run for Big Dinny’s Memorial Miles from Milford. A number of our athletes took part in the 23km run from Littleton to Templetuohy while others ran from Moyne to Templetuohy. Well done to all.
National Indoor League Round 1.
Unfortunately the National Indoor League Round 1 was due to take place in Dublin over the weekend but it was postponed because of the weather. A new date will be confirmed in the coming days.
Club AGM.
The club will host its annual AGM on Friday the 17th of January at 8pm in the club house. Any motions should be forwarded to club secretary Michelle Percy by Tuesday the 14th of January. We encourage club members to attend. All are welcome. More details to follow.
