Results Round-up:

On Friday, September 1st Ballynonty Community hosted a 5k road race in memory of Sean Healy who contributed a lot of his life 50 years+ to athletics, Shane Mullaney a former member of Ballynonty AC ran a good race on his old stomping ground finishing in 2nd place in 17:55 it was nice for him to run in honor of his former mentor. Well done Shane.

The next morning on Saturday, September 2nd A charity 8k road race was held in Semple Stadium Thurles in Aid of The Dillon Quirke & Cliona's Foundations. Mossy Bracken had the privilege of winning the race in a fine time of 26mins&7secs The race finished inside Semple stadium which I'm sure was a nice feeling for Mossy who was an avid hurler with Moycarkey Borris for many years. The next two athletes to cross the line were also from the club with Matthew Ryan in 2nd place in 27:35 and Conor Keating in 3rd place in 27:45, Great going Well done Lads.
