Moyne Athletic Club Updates: AGM Postponement and Upcoming Events

Club AGM:
Unfortunately, because of storm Eowyn the club AGM was postponed for safety reasons. The club will now host its AGM on Friday the 31st of January at 8:15 pm. Any motions should be forwarded to club secretary Michelle Percy by Tuesday the 28th of January. We encourage club members and parents to attend. All are welcome.
As a volunteer-based organisation, the club belongs to all of us. Your voice matters — let’s continue building our incredible club together!
East Munster Post Primary CC
On Thursday a number of our secondary school athletes will kick off this week’s action with the East Munster Schools Cross Country Championships in Waterford. Best of luck to all of our athletes competing for the various Thurles schools.
Sunday will see an action-packed day of athletics take place, with action coming across the country from Nenagh and Dungarvan.
Co. Indoor Championships, Nenagh
In Nenagh the County U9-U19 Juvenile championships will take place with a large list of Moyne A.C. athletes entered across many events. A full list will be published during the week.
While in Dungarvan a number of our road runners will take on the John Tracy 10 Mile road race organised by West Waterford A.C.
Munster Indoor T&F Championships, Nenagh
On Monday next more action will come from Nenagh with the Munster U20, U23, Senior and Master Indoor Championships taking place.

Split the Bucket:
Congrats to Aoife Campion who won €157 in the split the bucket draw in this week’s split the bucket draw. The ticket was drawn by Eileen Ely. Envelopes are available in the clubhouse, Quinlans pub and Tigh Maighne or join online today at moyneathleticclub.com. The draw takes place each Friday after training. We thank you for your kind support.
Presentation of cheque to Big Dinny’s Memorial Miles for Milford:
On Saturday the club presented a cheque of €1715.00 to the Kelly family for their Big Dinny’s Memorial Miles for Milford fundraiser. These funds were raised at our annual Christmas morning mile. We would like to thank everyone for their kind donations.
