MSD 4 MILE

The very popular MSD 4 Mile was held on Tuesday, December 26 in Clonmel. We had 14 athletes compete in the Stephen's Day race. First home for the club was 36th Dymphna Ryan 22:01 and was 5th Woman and 1st O40 Woman. She was followed by Philip O'Dwyer 22:31, 48th Aisling Ryan 23:00, 58th Martin Keane 23:35, 85th Michael Ryan 25:35, 94th Jim Halley 25:46, 106th Tish Ryan 26:45, 128th Mary Keane 27:41, 140th Denise White Compton 28:12, 164th Ben English 28:50, 189th Emily Leahy 29:35, 218th John Moore 30:42, 287th Louise Moore 33:28 and 288th Claire Moore 33:28. Great to see so many out racing over the Christmas season.

GRANGE-FERMOY AC NYE 10K

The Grange-Fermoy AC New Years Eve 10k was held on Sunday, December 31 in Grange. We had one athlete compete on what was a wet day for racing. Michael Moore was 62nd in 41:07.

MOOREABBEY MILERS AC MILE DASH

The Mooreabbey Milers AC Mile Dash was held on Saturday, December 30 in Galbally. We had 5 athletes compete over the short and fast distance. First home for the club and finishing in podium position of 3rd was Philip O'Dwyer in 4:57. Next, we had 10th Michael Moore 5:41, 17th Catherine Fogarty 6:03 and was 2nd Woman, 18th Mary Keane 6:04 and was 3rd Woman and 30th Isabelle Hartnett 7:18 who is a junior athlete.
