Kinvara Rock and Road 10K

The Kinvara Rock and Road on 1 March 2025 in County Galway includes a 3/4 Marathon, Half Marathon, and a 10km distance.

Kinvara is a beautiful seaside village in south Galway and the scenic routes are undulating with flat sections.

The 19.65 mile, 3/4 Marathon race starts and finishes at the quay area in the village. This will be an ideal training run and preparation for anyone running a marathon.

Half Marathon runners complete a lap of the village before they cross the N67 and head out on the course. The early miles are a series of gentle uphill sections leading to the first major right hand turn and the most scenic part of the course.

The 10K race heads west through the town along the N67 for approximately 2.5K, when the race will turn left. This first section is the quickest part of the course with the best road surface.
