🏞️ 2025 Clonmel Trail Half-Marathon – A Challenging Adventure! 🌄

Get ready for the Clonmel Trail Half-Marathon, a thrilling event that will take you through the stunning countryside of County Tipperary. This challenging 21.1 km course offers a rewarding experience for trail runners, with significant climbs and beautiful views.

⏰ Time: 11:00 AM
📍 Location: Hillview Sports Club, Clonmel, County Tipperary

🎽 Event Overview:

Half-Marathon – 21.1 km with 826 meters of ascent

Difficulty: Moderate terrain with over 500 meters of ascent, suited for experienced trail runners

Route: Only major junctions marked.

💸 Entry Details:

Registration for the Munster Half-Marathon League will be available closer to the event. Details on how to enter will be posted in the coming weeks.

There are no on-the-day entries, so make sure to sign up in advance.

🎽 Mandatory Kit:
All runners must carry the following mandatory kit:

Waterproof jacket

Hat or buff

Gloves

Whistle

Charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored

Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent

The exact kit requirements will be confirmed on the day based on weather and conditions. Failure to have the required kit will lead to disqualification.

📍 Getting There:

Location: Hillview Sports Club, Clonmel, E91 HC52

Parking: Additional parking is available at Gashouse Bridge, located just 500 meters from Hillview Sports Club. Enter "Free car parking, Gashouse Bridge, Old Waterford Road" in Google Maps.

🚌 Race Start Location:
The start will be near Hillview Sports Club. Please ensure you are there on time for registration and the pre-race briefing.

🏅 Prizegiving & Refreshments:
After completing the race, join us at Hillview Sports Club for refreshments and sandwiches. Showers will also be available in the clubhouse.
