The Waterfoot to Ballycastle is a point to point run trail marathon on 9 August 2025 in Antrim.
The course follows some fantastic trails that will take you up through Glenariff Forest, over Trostan, with amazing views across the North coast. This course is approximately 90% trail with a cut off time of 8 hours.
As well as the marathon, there is also a half marathon distance on a spectacular and challenging course from The Altarichard road at the base of Slieveanorra to Ballycastle. Cut off is 4 hours.
Entrants will be transported by bus from the finish line at Ballycastle to the start lines.
There will be no marshals or signage along the route and entrants will be supplied with a full GPX file of the route to download. This is a self sufficient event with 1 water refill stop along the way (you must carry your own refillable water bottles).
