Join us for a challenging and scenic circuit and climb of the Sugarloaf, one of the most iconic mountains in Wicklow, with an 8.5 km route and 497 meters of ascent.

🎽 Mandatory Kit:

Level B - Standard Kit:

Waterproof jacket

Hat or buff

Gloves

Whistle

Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored

Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent

The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day depending on weather conditions.

Failure to carry mandatory kit will result in disqualification.

📍 Route Description:

The race starts from the arch at the Great Sugarloaf Car Park, heading towards the peak.

The route involves a circuit of the mountain, with some steep and rocky terrain.

It is a challenging climb, so runners should be prepared for difficult conditions.

🚗 Getting There:

Start Location: Great Sugarloaf Car Park, Wicklow

Start Point: We will be in a field beside the Great Sugarloaf Car Park.

🔔 Organiser’s Instructions:

Registration: Open from 6:30 PM - 7:20 PM

Start Line: The race will begin at the arch in the car park south of the Sugarloaf peak.

Prizegiving: Will take place in the car park after the race, with sandwiches available for participants.

Food: Some sandwiches will be provided after the race.
