🎒 Mandatory Kit – Level B (Standard)

All runners must bring the following items to registration:
✅ Waterproof jacket
✅ Hat or buff
✅ Gloves
✅ Whistle
✅ Charged mobile phone (emergency number stored)
✅ Foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent

The kit required during the race will be confirmed on the day, depending on weather and conditions. Random checks may be carried out. No kit = no race.

🗺️ Route Overview

This year’s race follows the 2023 course, with an extended descent via Scarr Ridge and the Wicklow Way.

Start: New fire road (Wicklow Way/Gaffney’s Lane)

Gradual rise through forest trails to the wall

Steep 200m climb over 1km through bracken and heather

Ridge route around Scarr, with marshall directing final summit push

Glorious descent to the finish via Brusher Gap

⚠️ Caution: Wire on ground near wall in places.

Keep your number for the 2025 season

Jacket is mandatory — wear or carry, or risk disqualification

Number must be visible on chest, not shorts or backwards on race belt

If you drop out, inform a volunteer or contact the RD using the emergency number on your race number
