Get ready for an unforgettable adventure through the wild terrain of Mushera and the Boggeraghs in County Cork. This 10.8 km trail race offers 500 meters of ascent, featuring a mix of open mountain, boggy paths, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Note: The specific kit to be carried will be confirmed on race day, depending on conditions. Failure to carry required items may lead to disqualification, with random checks enforced.

Directions:
From Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, and Cork:
Proceed to Mallow, take the Killarney road (N72) for approximately 20 km.
Turn left at the crossroads for Banteer (R579), then take the right for Millstreet (L1120).
After 4 km, turn left for Killcorney, continue straight through the village, passing two crossroads.
Follow the signposts for St. Johns Well. The race start is 400 meters beyond this point.
From Kerry:
Head to Millstreet, turn onto the road opposite Dairygold Co-Op Superstore (Rylane/L1123).
After 6 km, turn right, signposted for St. Johns Well, where overflow parking is available.

Route Description:
The race begins at the gates of Millstreet Country Park, heading towards St. Johnβs Well. At 500 meters, turn right onto a fireroad that leads up the Blackwater Way. After 2 km, the terrain transitions to boggy open mountain, where the 5 km race will turn right for a final climb to the Cairn, then descend to the finish.
The 10 km race continues into the open mountain, where youβll cross several stiles and follow IMRA flags.
At 4 km, keep the boundary wire to your left for 1 km until you reach your second stile.
From here, itβs a 2 km climb to the summit of Mushera, followed by a final descent to the finish.

Prizegiving Location:
Prizegiving and refreshments will be available at Millstreet Country Park after the race.
