Take on one of Wicklow’s toughest mountain races! The Mullaghcleevaun Challenge is a thrilling test of endurance, navigation, and strength, set in breathtaking but challenging terrain.

✅ Distance: 12.1km 🏞️
✅ Climb: 800m ⛰️
✅ Difficulty: 🔴 Difficult Terrain, >500m ascent, >10km
🚩 Only Major Junctions Marked – Navigation Required!
✅ GPS Allowed

All runners must bring these items. Final kit requirements will be confirmed at registration based on weather conditions.
⚠ Random kit checks will be conducted – missing gear may result in disqualification!
🏆 Race Route:
Follow the open mountain signs to the Hampden Bomber Memorial (O033089), then ascend Black Hill before navigating south-east to Mullaghcleevaun. Expect rough, intermittent trails and challenging navigation, especially in poor visibility! The summit cairn marks the turnaround point before returning via Black Hill.
