Participants will divert off the Wicklow Way to Ballinastoe and continue to the gate, where they will be directed by a marshal. From there, runners will retrace their steps until another marshal directs them back onto the Wicklow Way. The route continues via boardwalks until runners reach Djouce, followed by a descent. Participants will pass Crone Woods (17km) and continue along the Wicklow Way to Glencullen Bridge (27km). The return route follows the same path, with no detour to Ballinastoe on the way back.
