🏃‍♂️ Dysart Woods Trail Run – Experience the Beauty of Laois! 🌲✨

Join us for an invigorating trail run through the serene Dysart Woods in County Laois.

🎽 Event Details:

Distance: 6.50 km

Climb: 250 meters

Event Difficulty: 5 (Easy Terrain, 200M–500M ascent, 6Km–10Km)

Marking: Fully marked route.

GPS Usage: Allowed.

🎒 Mandatory Kit (Level A – Basic):
All participants must bring the following item:

Showerproof, windproof jacket

Important: A jacket must be carried or worn throughout the race. Random checks will be conducted, and failure to comply will result in disqualification.

📜 Route Overview:
The race begins at Corrigmeal Woodlands, moving seamlessly into the trails of Dysart Woods. Enjoy a mix of natural terrains and scenic woodland paths for an enjoyable trail running experience.

🚗 Getting There:
Dysart Woods is conveniently located midway between Portlaoise and Stradbally, just off the N80 in County Laois.

Approx. 1 hour from Dublin City

Approx. 1 hour 50 min from Cork City

Approx. 1 hour 10 min from Clonmel

For drivers: Exit the M7 at Portlaoise (Exit 16) and follow signs for the N80 (toward Carlow).

Parking charges apply for vehicles with fewer than four occupants:

€4 for a single-occupancy car

€3 for two people

€2 for three people

Free for full cars (4+ occupants)

Note: Please carpool where possible to reduce congestion and ensure sufficient parking availability.

Registration Details:

Registration opens online at €7. Deadline: 18:00, Saturday, 23rd March.

No cash entries on the day.

IMRA Membership Requirements:

Membership costs €10 for the calendar year and must be purchased online at www.imra.ie.

Bring the confirmation email and your race number to your first race.

Purchase individual race entry (€7) online through the "Purchase IMRA Products" page.

Registration on race day is open from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Corrigmeal, just 200m from the car park.

Please arrive early to avoid delays and ensure ample time for registration.

Prizes will be awarded immediately at the finish line for:

1st–3rd Female and Male finishers

1st Female and Male Junior finishers
