Join us for a thrilling 11.45 km race starting from Djouce Woods Car Park and making your way to the summit of Djouce! This race offers a mix of challenging terrain and stunning views, with 642 meters of ascent.

🎽 Mandatory Kit:

Level B - Standard Kit:

Waterproof jacket

Hat or buff

Gloves

Whistle

Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored

Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent

The actual kit to be carried will be finalized on the day depending on conditions.

Failure to carry the required kit may result in disqualification.

📍 Getting There:

Start Location: Djouce Woods, Old Long Hill Road

Directions:

Turn off the N11 at Kilmacanogue onto the R755 for Glendalough.

After 1.5 km, turn right onto the R760 for Enniskerry/Powerscourt Waterfall.

After 1.3 km, take a sharp left onto the L1036 for Sally Gap/Roundwood.

Car parking is limited, and marshals will direct you to available spots.

The first car park is at Djouce Woods (Grid Ref: 0213 131). If full, you will be directed to the second car park up Long Hill.

Car Pooling: Recommended!

There’s a car park at Pluck’s roundabout for about 30 cars. Consider carpooling from here.

Registration/Sign-in:

Open from 18:15 to 19:15 sharp.

All participants must register on the night.

After registration, race chips will be scanned to ensure safety and proper tracking.

Race Start: 19:30 sharp.

Early start at 19:00 for runners expecting to take more than 160% of the winner's time.

Junior Race/Short Course: Starts 5 minutes after the main race, approximately 5 km with 295m ascent. This course is more challenging than typical junior races and may not be suitable for children under 10.

Race Number & Chip: Pick up at registration if you don’t have one already.

Important: No headphones allowed for safety reasons.

🏆 Prizegiving Location:

Location: At the finish line.

Prizes will be awarded, and refreshments will be provided.

Note: Due to the closure of Pluck’s, there won’t be a post-race venue, so join us at the finish for the awards and a refreshment!
