Kit requirements will be finalised on race day depending on weather conditions. Failure to bring the required items may lead to disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

🚗 Getting There

Directions:

Take the N11 to Wicklow and follow signs towards Rathnew/Wicklow.

Take the Rathdrum/Glenealy road at the Rathnew roundabout.

If coming from Ashford, drive through the village towards Rathnew. After Spar Garage, take the right turn onto Chestnut Glen, follow signs to Glenealy (5-8 minute drive).

Parking:

Parking at Cooley Farm, Eircode: A67VE42.

Important: Please do not park on the small road to the race start. Car parking fees will go to Cancer Research.

Drive slowly on the farm premises and avoid mucking up the yard.

Please carpool to minimize the impact on the village. Carpool from Ashford House (beside prizegiving).

📝 Organisers Instructions

Race Route:

Similar to last year's race, with 7.5 km of mainly fire roads and single-track trails.

Starts with a short fire road section to space out the field.

Includes a climb to the mountain peak and some fast downhill sections.

The course has 2 climbs and 2 downhills. 🏞️

Registration:

Location: Cooley Farm, Stables

Register online before race day.

Deadline: Online registration closes at 12 noon on race day.

On race day, sign-in at the "Registered Online" table and then proceed to register your chip.

If this is your first race of the year, you'll receive a race number that you keep for the season.

No early starts: Race starts at 19:30 for everyone (due to narrow trails).

Junior Runners/Short Course: Starts at 19:35, same route as main race up to the turn point, then straight back down (less than 5 km).
