Location:

From Dublin:

Best route: Take N11 Exit 22 (Gorey/Inch) → Roundabout: 3rd exit (Gorey/Carnew/Inch) → Roundabout: 1st exit → Right after humpback bridge → Straight for ~10 km, through Kilanerin → Continue to junction, turn right for 700m → Gap pub.

Alternate Route:

From Rathnew → Rathdrum → Aughrim → R747 to Tinahely → At crossroads, left (not Tinahely) → Continue straight for 8 km to carpark at The Gap pub.

Parking: Opposite the pub. No parking along the road or at the entrance to the forest.

📋 Organisers Instructions

Mandatory Kit: As per Level B Standard. Final kit to be determined by the Race Director based on weather conditions on the day.

Terrain: This is a tough course, particularly the long route. Trail shoes with good grip are essential!

Route:

The route follows the Yellow Belly Loop with purple arrows on the ridge.

This course is NOT recommended for beginners.

Your IMRA race number must be worn visibly, especially at the finish line.

Race Entry:

No cash entries on the day. Pre-registration only.

A €5 charge applies for a replacement race number at registration (card payments only).

🚗 Parking & Carpooling

Priority parking will be given to cars with more than one occupant. Please carpool if possible.
