Binevenagh Mountain Race 10K

Springwell Running Club will host the NIMRA league & IMRA Ulster Championship race on Binevenagh Mountain on Saturday 18th April 2026 at 12:00.
Distance 6.2 miles (10km), climbing 350 metres (1150 ft).
It is kindly supported by local businesses & communities: BASALTsix, CIP Insurance Brokers & Kingspan with thanks to Water Caves Luxury Accommodation & St Aidan's Church for use of their land & facilities.

Race Start/Finish: Waterfall Caves, Accommodation Lane.

Registration: Open 10-11:30, kit check & post race refreshments will take place in St Aidan's Church Hall.

Parking: £5 per car - PLEASE CAR SHARE - WE HAVE 50 SPACES MAXIMUM, so we need you to arrive 3 to a car to accommodate all. Please do not park at the upper Chapel car park - we are not permitted to use it - Lower Hall car park only. (Parking charges donated to St Aidan's Church)

Kit: Full race kit will be required including body cover (waterproof trousers, coat, hat & gloves), whistle, trail or fell shoes. No road trainers.  The course will be fully marked, map & compass will not be required. Kit to be checked at Registration.

Mugs: Please keep your race number and hand it back in at the hall - in return you shall receive your Binevenagh Race Mug - we know fell runners love a mug... and this will cut down on plastic cups!

Prizes: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female, Fastest 40+ Male & Female & Trophy for fastest mixed team (top 3 count, team must be made up of male & female)

All race proceeds to go to Northwest Mountain Rescue Team.

Please note walking poles, headphones or earbuds are not permitted in accordance with NIMRA race guidelines. The race route will be clearly marked and chipped timed. 

Online entries only. Entries will not be available on race day, however race entries can be substituted up until 12th April. Any substitutions must be processed on SiEntries by the person who made the initial entry. Substitutions cannot be processed beyond this date or on race day.
