Distance: 23.50 km

Climb: 900 meters

Event Difficulty: 8 (Moderate Terrain, >500M ascent, >10Km)

Marking: Fully marked route.

GPS Usage: Allowed.

🎒 Mandatory Kit (Level B – Standard):
All participants must bring the following items:

Waterproof jacket

Hat or buff

Gloves

Whistle

Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored

Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent

The kit requirements will be finalized on race day based on weather conditions and communicated during registration. Random checks may be conducted. Non-compliance may lead to disqualification.

📜 Route Overview:
The route begins in Baile Mhic Íre and traverses part of the famous Slí Mhúscraí trail. Follow the yellow way-marked arrows of the Slí Gaeltacht Mhúscraí towards Gugan Barra. At Gugan Barra, the route connects with the Slí Naomh Fionnbarra, taking you past picturesque landscapes, ancient pathways, and serene views.

🚗 Getting There:
Baile Mhic Íre is located in the heart of Cork’s Gaeltacht region. Participants are encouraged to carpool where possible to reduce congestion and parking challenges. Specific parking arrangements will be communicated closer to the date.

Registration details will be announced soon. Entries typically open a couple of weeks before the event.

Ensure your race number is visible on your chest. Timing chips must be securely fastened to your shoelaces for accurate recording.

Headphones are not allowed for safety reasons.
